CANHI Community Health Workers (CHW) were on-site at Move Montgomery’s Color Run this past Saturday. Move Montgomery’s Color Run event is an initiative of the Montgomery Health and Wellness Task Force social network launched by First Lady Tamika Reed.

CANHI’s vaccine ambassadors shared COVID-19 information, discussed health literacy, conducted health care surveys, and encouraged participants to opt into CANHI’s upcoming SMS text messaging campaign. CANHI’s mobile engagement campaign led by Leafpoint, enables individuals to enroll to receive information about health services, workshops, and other CANHI-sponsored events via text message.
