King Hill
The CANHI Team was onsite at the Tracy Larkin Community Center (Montgomery, AL), for the King Hill Community’s Back-to-School Bash and Community Seed Planting Ceremony. Esther, Sharon, Tracere, and Ayanna represented CANHI by sharing health literature with the King Hill residents while community members enjoyed carnival food, music, games, and giveaways.
A special thank you to Mrs. Mary Myles, Councilman Isaiah Sankey (pictured with Program Manager, Ayanna Sterling and CHWs), and the community of King Hill. We look forward to visiting with you again soon!
Maggie Street
Community Health Workers, Betty and Mary attended the Back 2 School Summer Blast hosted by Maggie Street Missionary Baptist Church and the Southern Belle Tea Group, Inc. (Montgomery, AL). Event attendees enjoyed a fun-filled day of music, games, potato sack races, and more.
CANHI was present to provide health literature and offer community members a chance to express their perspectives regarding communication with healthcare providers. It was truly a day of fun in the sun!
Brundidge Homegrown
Last, but certainly not least, CHW Myra was onsite at the Brundidge Homegrown event alongside Mayor Isabell Boyd (pictured below with CHW Myra) and a host of other community members.
